A Software Engineering graduate with a kin interest in web development, I am currently working as a Software Quality Engineer to broaden my experience in the Software Development field. I enjoy working on challenging new projects that push me to grow beyond my current level, and I revel every opportunity to pass on what I learn to others.

About Me

I am a graduate from Nelson Mandela University, currently working as a Software Quality Engineer . I have a strong passion for my field and I particularly enjoy Web Development and complex systems designs as they push me to grow further.

Starting out with basic HTML on Notepad, I grew to incorporate CSS and JavaScript on my Web Development. Since being a University student, I have ventured on developing with ASP.Net Core MVC web apps and I have even been developing UIs in FIgma.

Beyond progamming, I am also a coffee lover who enjoys a good movie or show, and an even better book, specifically a great piece of sci-fi, fantasy and horror. I also enjoy poetry and have dabbled in writing some previously.

I am eager to hone my skills and grow as a web developer, and I’d further like to grow as a mobile developer as well.

The project is an official, assigned project for my third year Project Module ONT3010. Using ASP.Net Core, specifically the MVC architecture, it is a primary health care system. Users (patients) can book appointment and receive prescriptions, among others, while health workers manage files and appointments.

It’s currently a static site, hosted in github pages, displaying my professional and educational experiences and qualifications, along with my completed projects. The project is a JavaScript practice project. Using basic arithmetic functions, it serves as a basic calculator that performs simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). As previously mentioned, I intend to use further mathematical functions to make it calculate more complex calculations.

This project is a practice project for CSS and JavaScript. It serves as a clock, stopwatch and timer and its most challenging feat is its dynamically changing background. At day time,the clock assumes the colour of the sun and the background, the colour of the sky. At night, it assumes the colour of the moon and the background, the colour of the night sky.
